Theatre Classes
Throughout the year, Everyman Theatre offers a variety of classes and workshops for teens, adults, corporate professionals, and professional theatre artists. Upcoming Classes A Study of Our Town - A class for the theatre lover!
Learn how artists take the page and put it on stage. Everyman Theatre is holding another class for the theatre patron! Revolving around our production of Thornton Wilder's American classic Our Town, students will read and study the play while learning how artists take scripts and turn them into full productions. It will explore in-depth how to look at a play from varied perspectives and help the theatre patron get the most out of each theatre experience. Students are strongly encouraged to see the production!
Class Specifics- Acting Three with Vincent Lancisi
Part Three of Everyman Theatre's Acting Series 2010, designed to provide actors with intensive training in a variety of performance techniques. This advanced acting course will focus on helping actors to understand the emotional journey of a character, strengthen listening skills, and utilize the voice and body in their character interpretation. Actors will heighten their awareness, flexibility and confidence in their character development process and performance. This course will culminate in a final performance and talk back with the acting instructors. Actors will be required to qualify for course entry.
