Why Give?

YOU PLAY A SUPPORTING ROLE!

Support the Art

Ticket sales keep the lights on and cover about 50% of our budget, but your gift supports the most important part of what we do—the performances on stage.

Sustain the Artists

Everyman Theatre operates on the principle that artists from the region have consistent, meaningful work that keeps them living in, and contributing to the cultural life and economy of the Baltimore Metropolitan area. In an intimate setting, Everyman has attracted many of the finest artists and employs a company of resident professionals who work regularly throughout the season.

Teach Baltimore City students about Theatre

The High School Matinee Program serves over 1,000 students each year at no cost. Students attend performances here at the theatre. The actors follow up with workshop sessions in their classrooms. The Program is focused on the quality and depth of experience, rather than on the sheer number of individuals served.

Help Build Everyman’s New Home

After 20 years, Everyman is building a new home at the former Town Theatre on West Fayette Street where we will keep prices low and performances intimate. In a theatre with just 250 seats and enough room to consolidate all of our programs and operations under one roof, we will be better, not bigger.
