FEATURING CALEEN SINNETTE JENNINGS & ANGELICA CHERI
Sunday, March 8, 2020 | 10:30am-12:30pm
Everyman Theatre, 315 W. Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD 21201
Did you know that only 2% of plays produced nationally are written by female playwrights of color? Everyman Theatre is excited to host both of these playwrights as part of our inaugural NEW VOICES FESTIVAL. The Champagne Brunch will not only give you a glimpse into the worlds of each play, but will also allow you the chance to hear from two playwrights about their journeys in the field. The work of these two playwrights not only chronicle rarely told stories on the stage, but will also engage diverse, intergenerational audiences in dialogue around topics of race, civil rights, and the world in which we live.
It is vital to promote works by new voices in the field and we are lucky to have these women join us for the inaugural NEW VOICES FESTIVAL.
Sponsorships begin at $250 -
