Get to Know Me

What does being part of Everyman’s Resident Company mean to you?

Being a part of Everyman’s Resident Company means that I have a community of artist to explore and create with. I am surrounded by people who inspire me and are constantly striving to make the best art possible. It also means I have a responsibility to be working to better myself and be a part of the community at Everyman.

How has your time as a Resident Company Member influenced your artistic journey or career?

I love the freedom to explore within a community of trusted artists. I feel inspired by other Company Members to continue to grow and work to be the best version of myself. And I love seeing the impact that theatre has on people! Because I get to return and work in an artistic home I get to make connections with every patron from high school students seeing theatre for the first time, to people who have been going their whole life. Those connections build my passion and excitement for the work.

What connections do you have with Baltimore?

I went to school at UMBC and was able to see theatre in Baltimore while studying there. After school I auditioned at Everyman and found a welcoming, one-of-a-kind, theatrical home. What makes me stay is the connection to the community, I love the student matinee performances and getting to talk with the students about theatre.
