She served as a member of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT) – the largest professional theatre association of its kind in the United States – Board of Directors from 2020-2024, and on various committees since 2012, currently serving on the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee. She is a proud liberal arts graduate holding degrees from Truman State University in Theatre and Communications.

LaRose is an advocate of arts education and firmly believes that live theater makes a stronger society by connecting us as humans, building empathy, and focusing on the commonalities that bind us. She experiences the greatest joy by watching audiences and students experience live theater. She loves hiking and camping, snuggling with her long-time cat, and experiencing the world anew with her toddler and husband. While Baltimore is proudly her home, she credits her upbringing on a small farm in southern Missouri with challenging her curiosity, testing her resilience, and building her willingness to tackle any challenge.
