MEET THE TEACHING ARTISTS

Isaiah Harvey

YOUTH CLASS | Theatre Makers: Play Production

Isaiah Harvey is a Baltimore-based actor-playwright and teaching artist dedicated to the authentic pursuit of performance. He believes that when done with authenticity and effort, a great performance can come from any and everyone regardless of age or skill level. He has worked professionally in the Baltimore Area since 2019 with companies such as The Strand, Fells Point Corner Theatre, Trupenny Collective and Chesapeake Shakespeare Company where he is also a member of the Black Classical Actor’s Ensemble.

Patricia Hengen-Shields

YOUTH CLASS | Play Builders: Broadway Bound

Patricia Hengen-Shields is a Baltimore native, who has performed in numerous venues in the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2023, she represented the North Carolina region in the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition. She has appeared as a soloist with Baltimore Choral Arts Society, the Baltimore Symphony, and the City Choir of Washington under the direction of Grammy award-winning conductor, Robert Shafer. Ms. Hengen is a member of the Voice Faculty at Morgan State University and the Baltimore School for the Arts. Ms. Hengen is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory.

Beth Hylton

Ally Ibach

YOUTH CLASS | Story Explorers: Global Tales

Ally Ibach is an actor, writer, and producer- with bases in NYC, Baltimore, and London. Ally holds an M.A. in Acting from East 15 Drama School in the United Kingdom, where they performed as Ariel in The Tempest at Shakespeare’s Globe. Ally also works in voiceover and as a teaching artist (Institutions include: West End Workshops, Little Actors Studio, Everyman Theatre). They are a proud Equity Actor (US & UK). Ally also holds a B.F.A. in Acting from Towson University, where they received an award from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for their research and portrayal of Beth in A Lie of the Mind by Sam Shepard.

Bryan Robinson

YOUTH CLASS | Visual Arts

Bryan Robinson is an educator and multifaceted media artist born, raised and superhero’d in Baltimore Maryland. He has a background in film, 2D animation and Business Marketing. Robinson has been a visual artist for as long as he could successfully write his own name. He feels the blank canvas is just another portal to which his stories can be told. Robinson is a self taught artist who operates in “The Random.” He compares his work to a mixture of the Mona Lisa and the morning cartoons of the 80s. Robinson is inspired from the works of artists like Emory Douglas, Jean Michel Basquiat, and Keith Haring.

Lucius Robinson

YOUTH CLASS | Story Explorers: Fantasy Realms

Lucius Robinson is a Princess Grace-award-winning performer, director, writer, and teacher who received his MFA from the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theater and his Master of Arts in Teaching from Notre Dame of Maryland. He has taught for the Raleigh Little Theatre Education Program, at Central Washington University, for the University of Wyoming, and currently (and proudly) teaches for Armistead Gardens Elementary Middle School in Baltimore. His work onstage has been seen most recently with Bedlam Players, Burning Coal Theater Company, Otherlands Ensemble, and the Dell’Arte Company Players. Additionally, he has trained with the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Shakespeare & Company in Lenox, MA, and the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program.

Lindsay Wilk

YOUTH CLASS | Play Builders: Theatre Essentials

Lindsay Wilk is a DMV artist and a graduate of Towson University holding a BFA in acting. Most recently, Lindsay has been touring the country with Missoula Children’s Theatre performing Princess and the Pea. Other recent credits include directing Frozen the Musical Jr. at Riderwood Elementary, playing Vanya in Uncle Vanya, and Wilemina Fleming in Silent Sky. In her free time, Lindsay loves to explore the art of clowning.
