As preparations begin for its 35th year of Great Stories, Well Told, Everyman Theatre unveils a season that reads like a novel – teeming with emotion, cultural resonance, and theatrical brilliance. From August 31, 2025, through June 14, 2026, our stage becomes a canvas for stories that transform, delight, provoke, and knit hearts together, with a legacy of incredible theatre that features our renowned Resident Company of Artists
August Wilson’s THE PIANO LESSON (Aug 31 – Sept 28)
Baltimore’s August Wilson Celebration comes to Everyman with August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize–winning elegy of family and legacy. A deeply spiritual journey set in 1930s Pittsburgh, this powerful tale asks: what do we save—and at what cost?
ART (Oct 19 – Nov 16)
Then, laughter fills the air in Yasmina Reza’s sharp, Tony Award–winning comedy. Three friends, one controversial painting, and the unraveling of taste, loyalty, and identity onstage—this gem about the importance of seeing past the facade, and recognizing the beauty of what lies beneath, delivers wit and heart in equal measure.
DECEIVED (Nov 30 – Jan 4)
Just in time for the holidays, brace yourself for a chilling twist that takes you through a maze of manipulation and lies. Inspired by the famous thriller Gaslight, this adaptation is a psychological nail-biter that explores manipulation, memory, and the peril of losing one’s mind.
DAWN (Feb 1 – Mar 1)
A poignant world premiere by celebrated playwright and actor Tuyết Thị Phạm, recently selected as a featured play for the prestigious Colorado New Play Festival. Dawn follows a Cambodian American mother-daughter duo as they confront generational trauma and cultural legacy. Raw, intimate—and unforgettable.
VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE (Mar 22 – Apr 19)
Christopher Durang’s uproarious Tony Award–winning comedy lands next. Stale suburban lives, a globe-trotting Hollywood sister, and spine-tingling sibling rivalry—and laughs—await you.
EMMA (May 17 – June 14)
Finally, brace for a Jane Austen delight: Kate Hamill’s clever, high-energy adaptation of Emma. Think Bridgerton meets Clueless, staged with wit, romance, and Everyman’s resident company charm.
