Set among the lively, soul-filled aisles of a local convenience store, the stubborn and fiercely proud owner and immigrant from South Korea, Mr. Kim, also known as Appa, finds himself at a crossroads as he struggles to keep all that he has built and ensure his family legacy for his children. Filled with sharp wit and undeniable heart, this play chronicles the struggles and triumphs of immigrant parents while honoring the sacrifices we make for the people and the places we love most. When a late-night phone call from an ex-lover forces Ava to confront the ghosts of her past, it leads her to meet Eleanor, a successful older woman who is grappling with her own unfulfilled dreams and a quiet midlife crisis. Together, their intertwined paths navigate the fragile terrain of blame and forgiveness, ultimately questioning their choices and discovering we all have the power within us to determine who and what brings happiness to our lives.

For the first time, Agatha Christie’s iconic and clever sleuth, Miss Marple, steps out of the novel and onto the stage to solve a chilling murder at a summer soiree hosted by a glamorous Hollywood star. The close-knit community of the quiet 1960s English village of St. Mary Mead is shaken by the shocking news. Miss Marple must peel back layers of jealousy and dark secrets to reveal the killer before they strike again. This murder mystery, brought to life by a large ensemble cast of primarily Everyman Resident Company members, akin to classics like And Then There Were None and Murder on the Orient Express, comes from the queen of crime herself, Agatha Christie!

Memphis-native Katori Hall, renowned for her profound work centering on Black voices and experiences, reimagines the moments leading up to Dr. Martin Luther King’s last night and presents him in a way that strips away the mythology and reveals the vulnerable man beneath. Set entirely over one evening on the eve of King’s assassination, the same night he delivered his unforgettable speech, “I’ve Been to the Mountaintop,” we find King engaging in a soul‑baring conversation with a mysterious maid as he reflects on the enormous responsibility of his life, legacy, and work yet to be done – just hours before his tragic fate.
