THE COMING-OF-MIDDLE AGE TALE HAS MUCH TO SAY ABOUT WOMEN FEELING CONSTRICTED, MUCH TO SAY ABOUT WHAT IT MEANS FOR THEM TO WIGGLE FREE FROM BINDING TIES AND TAKE A WALK ON THE WILD SIDE.
- THE BALTIMORE SUN
A mash-up of Thelma and Louise meets The Odd Couple, this hilarious, coming-of-age story about two middle-aged women from acclaimed playwright Jen Silverman took the Humana Festival of New American Plays by storm in 2015. When Sharon, a lonely Iowa divorcee, seeks a roommate and a change of pace in her quiet life, she meets Robyn, a mysterious vegan transplant from the Bronx whose secret past threatens to ignite Sharon's small world. Both women’s mismatched personalities and hidden talents erupt to reveal hysterical and inadvertent consequences.
